According to the Facebook post of the Cognizant Philippines, Prasertsri Kosin or popularly known by netizens as "Koko Narak" had been fired because of his statements about Filipinos.

"Following contentious remarks made by Kosin Prasertsri on social media, Cognizant Technology Solutions Philippines, Inc. has taken disciplinary action against him and terminated his services with effect from May 4, 2015. He has been turned over to the Bureau of Immigration," Cognizant Philippines said.

Cognizant also said that they still continue to cooperate with the Bureau of Immigration, Embassy of Thailand, Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to give possible solutions for this matter.

Prasertsri Kosin has been hit by the netizens after calling the Filipinos as "Pignoys" and other discriminating words.

The Bureau of Immigration already issued a deportation charge for the Thai National.

“We cannot say at this point how long the proceedings will go- it may take two to six months, depending on the evidence presented and the cooperation of the parties. Kosin also has the option to admit the charge against him and opt for voluntary deportation in order to expedite the proceedings”, The BI spokesperson Elaine Tan said.

Meanwhile, the Thai national posted a letter on the ASEAN Community Facebook page. A letter of Apology to all the Filipinos because of insulting them.

According to Kosin, he also has a lot of Filipino friends, and he already acquired some of the Filipino traits. That's why he is truly sorry for hurting the Filipinos.

"I am not trying to request your sympathies [sic] to me, but I am trying all dear Filipinos here to think of me in another way. I am very an approachable guy spending my life as the Filipinos do, hanging out with friends at the cheap place, singing videoke [sic] like Filipinos, buying clothes from Changke (sic) (tiangge)," he said.
