Pacquiao Gives Thanks to the People Who Helped Him

Aside from hardwork and dedication in what he does, another secret to Manny Pacquiao's success is that he never turned his back to those people who helped him become the Champion that he is right now.

It was back in 1993 when Manny Pacquiao stepped in Metro Manila. He was practicing in a gym in Malabon where a woman named Corazon Florentino has a carenderia.

Since Manny does not have his family with him nor someone that he can run to. The Florentino family decided to let Manny stay with them.

According to Manny Pacquiao, an incident happened whereas he was about to give up. He was so thin because he suffered from Typhoid Fever. But the Florentino family did not abandon him. Instead, they helped him and even paid for the hospital bill eventhough he was not a part of their family.

Meanwhile, a teary eyed Corazon Florentino said that she was happy because the People's Champ still remembers where he came from. He is still down to earth.

The Florentino family flew to Macau with Manny to watch the Pacquiao vs. Algieri fight live.

Without the support of the people who helped him when he was still starting out as a boxer, he would not be where he is right now.  That is why Manny Pacquiao always give thanks to those kind people.
